FLYING TO BRADFORD CAMPS
Flying into Camp is a wonderful way to arrive and it allows you more time at Camp doing what you love.
We are located roughly fifty miles from the nearest town, accessed by commercial logging roads. If you choose to drive, be prepared for wide-load trucks, sharp corners, flat tire risks, and long stretches of gravel, mud, and dust. Gas, wear and tear and a North Maine Woods gate fee of $50 per person are some of the reasons many guests choose to fly.
Round-trip flights typically range from $330 to $800 per person (based on double occupancy), depending on your pick-up location. Most flights originate from Shin Pond, Millinocket, or Bangor, and travel time is usually between 20 minutes and one hour.
Maine Woods Seaplane Service is our on-site primary flight service. Igor Sikorsky will fly you in and out of camp, take you to other ponds for a day of fishing and recreation, or spend an hour in the sky on a scenic flight seeing the North Maine Woods. He operates a FAA inspected and approved commercial seaplane and has flown in northern Maine for 25 years.
