FLYING TO BRADFORD CAMPS

Bradford Camps is located roughly fifty miles from the nearest town, accessed by commercial logging roads. If you choose to drive, be prepared for wide-load trucks, sharp corners, flat tire risks, and long stretches of gravel, mud, and dust. These conditions are exactly why many guests choose to fly.

Flying is often the easiest and most enjoyable way to arrive.

Round-trip flights typically range from $330 to $800 per person (based on double occupancy), depending on your departure location. Most flights originate from Shin Pond, Millinocket, or Bangor, and travel time is usually between 20 minutes and one hour.

When you factor in fuel costs, North Maine Woods gate fees (approximately $60 per person), and general wear and tear on your vehicle, flying becomes a very reasonable option.

Katahdin Air Service, based in Millinocket, offers regular charter flights into camp, with service from Shin Pond and other regional locations. Charter flights can also be arranged from other areas throughout New England.
