Guide Services and Pro Guide Services

Bradford Camps has available experienced Maine guides for hire to enhance your vacation in the North Maine Woods. Not only are these guides licensed by the state through a strict testing program, they also must pass muster with our own requirements. Our guides have years of experience in the woods and waters of northern Maine and are considered the 'experts' in the area. They will be able to bring you to more fish and game than you would find on your own.

Included with the services of a guide is transportation, boat, motor and fishing equipment. The guide will assist you with any special needs you may have, just ask!

Pro Guide Services

Our BRADFORD CAMPS PRO GUIDES are the best guides available for our woods and waters around camp.  They cost only a bit more than a Registered Maine Guide and they are well worth it.  Being a Pro Guide is a recognition that the guides that have been working with us for a long while deserve a higher wage.  To become a Bradford Camps Pro Guide they must achieve these criteria:

  •    Be intimately familiar with all fly fishing techniques and trolling techniques for cold water fish in Maine.  Same for hunting upland and big game species.

  •    Be intimately familiar with all of the waters that we fish, and the woods that we hunt.  Minimum 50 days guiding fishing and 50 days guiding hunting at Bradford Camps.

  •    Be a registered Maine guide for both fishing and hunting.

  •    Be a supportive member of the team at Bradford Camps, and be a positive representative of Maine guiding.

  •    Be a knowledgeable and enjoyable companion.
