Deer Hunting We are open for three weeks in November to trophy Maine deer hunters who desire a hunt in the wildest woods Maine has to offer. The varied topography and ecology around Munsungan make these woods a big buck haven for which Maine is well known. The hunters at Bradford Camps will be exposed to lots of sign in their own hunting ground, undisturbed by other hunters. This is "Big Buck Country" where the deer are large yet very wary. Deer have been shot in the North Maine Woods over 300 popunds dressed weight. A lot of skill and patience are required to bag bucks in this area. The nearby hunting areas are accessible by roads and trails and our guides are fully familiar with the deer activity in each area so your chances of whitetail success at The Bradford Camps are the best in the North Maine Woods. Guests should bring their own sleeping bags for the November deer hunts. The Bradford Camps was included as one of the Twelve Best Deer Hunts In America (Outdoor Life, September, 1996)
