Canoeing
Canoes are kept on the lake and some outlying ponds for our guests wishing to fish flatwater and to explore for the day. We have paddles and life jackets as well. There are many secluded beaches around the shore of Munsungan Lake that you can paddle to and picnic on. The Allagash River is only a few miles away and is a great canoeing day trip (usually guided). Munsungun Stream and Moosleuk Stream are also great day-long canoeing trips in the spring and offer superb fly fishing during the earlier months of the year.We also have five kayaks and a double kayak for guests' use at camp. There are miles of shoreline to paddle along on the lake and many beaches for afternoon lunches.
