Boats with motors, kayaks, and canoes for fishing and lake adventures
Activities
Photos
If you are interested in canoeing in Maine, fishing in Maine, fly fishing in Maine, hiking in Maine, family vacations in Maine, or just a quiet vacation in Maine, we have something to offer you.

Guided Fishing trips
Reserve in advance a guide for a fantastic fishing day on the water.  Many guests choose a guide for the whole length of their stay.  The guide will meet you in the morning after breakfast and plan the day you want on the water.  They come fully equipped and full of knowledge (and great stories).  Experienced fishermen will benefit as well as the novice looking to learn how to cast a fly or troll a smelt.

White Water Rafting
We offer a Penobscot White Water Rafting day trip from our docks. The price is $130 weekdays, $160 weekends per person, minimum three people. Other fly-out locations and scenic plane rides are also offered.

Fly-out Trips
We offer fly-out day and overnight trips to our outpost camps and many other remote fishing waters in our area. Prices for lake and pond fly-outs are approximately $70 per person, minimum two people, round trip.

Canoeing and Kayaking
There are four beaches around Munsungun Lake to boat to and picnic and swim.  Some guests like to get up at the crack of dawn to take advantage of the calm water and view the sunrise.

Hiking
There are some beautiful hiking trails right out of camp for short trips as well as day long adventures.

Shooting
You are welcome to bring your own guns for use on our shooting range and sporting clays course.  We also offer a 1-2 hour shooting course for the novice who wants to learn.  We cover the basics of firearm safety, etiquette, history, handling, and marksmanship in a fun, comfortable, and controlled atmosphere.

Photography
Fabulous pictures can be taken of bald eagles, bear, deer, moose, fall foliage, and everything else you see!  The sunsets at Bradford Camps are beyond belief!

Other activities around camp include
Swimming, horseshoes, badminton, tetherball, board games and porch lounging.
