MAINE DEER HUNTING
We are open for three weeks in November to trophy Maine deer hunters who desire a hunt in the wildest woods Maine has to offer. The varied topography and ecology around Munsungan make these woods a big buck haven for which Maine is well known. The hunters at Bradford Camps will be exposed to lots of sign in their own hunting ground, undisturbed by other hunters. The North Maine Woods is "Big Buck Country" where the deer are large yet very wary. Deer have been shot in the North Maine Woods well over 300 pounds dressed weight. Generally our hunting tactics are still hunting, and some stand hunting. Map and compass proficiency are required if you hunt without a guide. A lot of skill and patience are required to bag bucks in this area. The nearby hunting areas are accessible by roads and trails and our guides are fully familiar with the deer activity in each area so your chances of whitetail success at The Bradford Camps are the best in the North Maine Woods. Hunters should bring their own sleeping bags for the November deer hunts.
